چکیده

Two - component / Double Diffusive Marangoni (DDM) convection with Dufour effects, in a two-layered system, has been studied analytically by using Darcy – Brinkmann Model. For fluid layer, the upper boundary is free surface tension depending on both temperature and concentration, for porous layer lower rigid boundaries are insulating to heat mass. At interface, normal velocity, stress, shear mass, mass flux, heat, flux assumed be continuous. The effect of different physical parameters DDM investigated detail results presented graphically. parameter, which plays vital role diffusion-thermal process, when energy due gradient appears, two- explored.

Double diffusive reaction-convection in viscous fluid layer

In the present study, the onset of double diffusive reaction-convection in a uid layer with viscous fluid, heated and salted from below subject to chemical equilibrium on the boundaries, has been investigated. Linear and nonlinear stability analysis have been performed. For linear analysis normal mode technique is used and for nonlinear analysis minimal representation of truncated Fourier serie...

Double-Diffusive Natural Convection with Marangoni and Cooling Effects

Double-diffusive natural convection in an open top square cavity and heated from the side is studied numerically. Constant temperatures and concentration are imposed along the right and left walls while the heat balance at the surface is assumed to obey Newton’s law of cooling. The finite difference method is used to solve the dimensionless governing equations. The numerical results are reporte...

Double Diffusive Natural Convection in Power-Law Fluid Saturated Porous Medium with Soret and Dufour Effects

The effects of double diffusive natural convection heat and mass transfer along a vertical plate embedded in a power-law fluid saturated Darcy porous medium in the presence of Soret and Dufour effects are studied. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations and then solved numerically. A parametric study of t...

Effect of Internal Heat Generation on Benard-Marangoni Convection in Micropolar Fluid with Feedback Control

The effect of uniform distribution of internal heat generation on the linear stability analysis of the Benard-Marangoni convection in an Eringen’s micropolar fluids with feedback control is investigated theoretically. The upper free surface is assumed to be non-deformable and the lower boundary is taken to be rigid and isothermal with fixed temperature and spanvanishing boundaries. The eigenval...
